
Twisted Rib Yoga Socks
Size: One size fits most
MATERIALS
Yarn: 5 yards of Loops and Threads Impeccable medium weight yarn Needles: Size 7 dpn or size to obtain gauge
Gauge: In twisted rib, 18 sts and 26 rows = 4”
Notes: Pattern size can be adjusted depending on desired fit by increasing or decreasing number of cast on stitches in multiples of four.
Increase 1: k2tog, without removing stitches from your left needle knit last stitch on needle again then slide off.
Cast on 36 sts loosely Place marker and join
P2, k2 for 5 rounds
Begin Twisted rib: Rnd 1: *purl 2, k2tog, increase 1, k2tog, increase 1, repeat from * to the end of round
Rnd 2: p2, k4 repeat to end of round
Rnd 3: *p2, k1, k2tog, increase 1, k1; repeat from * to end of round
Rnd 4: p2, k4 repeat to end of round Repeat these four rounds until the piece measures 4 ½ inches or desired height (this is the ankle).
Heel Round
1: knit in twisted rib pattern for 18 stitches then bind off the remaining 18 stitches.
Round 2: knit in twisted rib pattern for 18 stitches, cast on 18 stitches
Round 3: knit in twisted rib pattern for 18 stitches, k18 Continue in twisted rib for 18 sts and k18 until piece measures 4 ½ inches or desired length is reached.
P2, k2 for 4 rounds Bind off loosely in pattern
